Jeff began his career in carpentry / construction as a small boy working with his father. His father, the late Edgar Rainey owned and operated Rainey & Sons Carpentry, Inc. out of the Bryant Pond / Greenwood area. Jeff was employed by Rainey & Sons before entering the US Navy and after his enlistment. Together with his wife Tracy, formed J A Rainey & Sons Carpentry in 1995 and later in 2009 formed Rainey Builders, Inc.. Jeff still strives for the quality that he was taught by his father in each project that he takes on.
With nearly years of building / contracting experiance, we are capable of seeing you through with your home building dreams. We also specialize in renovations, remodeling, siding, replacement windows, and roofing.
In 1997, J A Rainey & Sons Carpentry was awarded a Merit Award for design and craftsmanship, from Custom Home Design and Construction Magazine, for a home they built near Norway. Maine in 1995.
